THE ROLE
A vacancy has arisen for a SAP ABAP Analyst.The NSG Global SAP team is friendly and supportive, offering an opportunity for personal development and to gain technical expertise whilst working to maintain and improve several SAP systems including multiple S4 Hana systems.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver enhancements and project requirements, providing optimal solutions to help fill gaps in SAP functionality.
- Provide quality support of SAP ABAP developments to internal customers globally in line with SLA targets.
- Proactively communicate with functional team members and ABAP Team members on an ongoing basis.
- Be a technical resource for the ABAP Team and help pass on knowledge to other team members.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- SAP ABAP development experience (support and projects) is preferred.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging SAP applications using tools like SQL Trace and Runtime Analysis.
- Practical knowledge of SAP Clean Core development principles is desirable but will be a working requirement for the successful candidate.
- A results-oriented and analytical approach, and the ability to quickly learn and exploit technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams.
- Someone to work alongside functional teams and business to provide optimal solutions to requirements.
- SAP certification would be desirable.
